How is the next service calculated?

For hours and mileage: the reading at the last service plus the interval. Oil changed at 402 hours with a 100-hour interval means the next change is at 502 hours. For time: the date of the last service plus the interval. With both, whichever comes first. An item turns Coming Soon 14 days before a date or in the last 10% of an hours or mileage interval (Pro lets you change both), Due at the service point and Overdue after it.

How do I update engine hours?

Tap the gauge button at the top of the Overview to update every machine at once, or open a machine and tap Update Hours. All schedules recalculate as soon as you save.

Why did I not get a reminder for an hours-based service?

A phone cannot know when your generator reaches 500 hours. Mentryq reminds you about hours and mileage after a reading you enter brings a service close. Keep readings up to date — Pro can remind you weekly to log them. Also check that notifications are allowed for Mentryq in the iOS Settings app.

How do I change the language?

Settings → Language. Mentryq speaks English, Russian, Spanish and German.

How do I restore or cancel Mentryq Pro?

Restore: Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account. Cancel: Settings → Manage Subscription, or your App Store account settings.

Is my data backed up?

Mentryq stores everything on your iPhone, and it is included in your iCloud or computer backups. There is no account and no Mentryq server.

Where do the maintenance intervals come from?

From you. Mentryq suggests common service names, never intervals. Always follow the schedule recommended by your equipment manufacturer.
