For tattoo and piercing studios
Consent forms that never leave your phone
The client answers the health questions, shows an ID and signs with a finger. Tintaq turns it into one PDF — the document an inspector asks for and the copy the client takes home.
Download on the App StoreWhat makes it different
Nothing is uploaded
Health answers and ID photos stay in the app, encrypted by iOS, behind Face ID. There is no account to create and no server to trust. It works with no signal.
The wording is frozen at signing
A consent form is only worth something if you can show what the client actually read. Editing a template later raises its version and never touches a form already signed.
Hand the phone over safely
Client mode hides every other client's record and asks for Face ID before anyone can leave the form.
Lot numbers on the document
Ink and needle batches go on the PDF, because that is the first thing a health inspector asks for.
Fourteen languages
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and both forms of Chinese — the app, the consent templates and the aftercare sheet.
Your wording, your logo
The templates are a starting point. Rewrite them for your country and your studio, and put your logo on the header.
How a session goes
- Pick the client, or add them in twenty seconds.
- Choose the form: tattoo, piercing, touch-up, or one you wrote.
- Record the procedure, the placement on the body chart, and the batches you opened.
- Hand the phone over. The client answers the health questions, shows an ID, reads the wording and signs.
- Face ID hands the phone back. Check the flagged answers, save, and the PDF is done.
Price
Five clients free, so you can try it on real people. After that Pro lifts the limit: one payment that is yours for good, or a yearly or monthly subscription. No fee per form.
Questions studios ask
Where is my clients' data stored?
On the device, in the app's own container, encrypted by iOS and locked behind Face ID. Nothing is sent anywhere — Tintaq has no server and no account.
What happens if I lose the phone?
Local-only storage means a lost phone is a lost archive, so Tintaq can write an encrypted backup file you keep in Files or iCloud Drive. Make one regularly.
Is a finger signature legally valid?
In most places an electronic signature is valid when you can show who signed, what they read and when. Tintaq stores all three in the PDF. Whether that satisfies your local rules is a question for a lawyer in your country.
Are the consent templates legally approved?
No. They are a well-written starting point, not legal advice. Anyone claiming an app gives you a compliant document for every country is selling you something. Read the template, change what needs changing, and check it locally.
Can a client under 18 sign?
Tintaq works out the age from the date of birth and switches on a guardian signature when the client is under 18. Whether you may tattoo them at all depends on your country and region.
Do I have to store a photo of the ID?
No. You can record that the document was checked, with its type and last digits, and store no image at all — the lighter option where keeping a scan is not allowed.
Does it work on an iPad?
Yes. Many studios hand the client an iPad to sign on, and the app is built for both.
